Sarah Phipps is the founder of Saffron Therapeutic Coaching and has over 30 years of experience supporting, coaching and developing individuals across international corporate business, education, charities and private practice settingsAfter recognising the growing need for affordable and accessible early intervention support for children and young people, Sarah established Saffron Therapeutic Coaching to focus specifically on helping young people navigate emotional and personal challenges in a safe, supportive and solution-focused environmentSarah has extensive experience working within both primary and secondary education environments in pastoral roles as well as working with children who have additional educational needs and has a strong background in coaching, mentoring, learning and developmentShe holds a Postgraduate Degree in Personnel and Development from Westminster University, a Level 3 Diploma in Counselling Skills, alongside numerous professional coaching qualifications gained throughout her career

Alongside Sarah's extensive experience supporting children and young people, she has a strong safeguarding background developed through many years working within education, coaching and mentoring environments. Safeguarding and young person's wellbeing are at the heart of the practice, understanding the importance of creating safe, trusted and supportive relationships with young people, while working collaboratively with schools, staff and families are fundamental to the process.Sarah is especially experienced in supporting young people presenting with anxiety-related barriers to education, including Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA)I hold an Enhanced DBS check and maintain up-to-date safeguarding knowledge and awareness to ensure the highest standards of professional practice when supporting vulnerable children and young peopleI have experience supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), tailoring my approach to meet individual emotional, social and developmental needs to ensure inclusive, compassionate and effective support
